So got back from x-mas break and someone hit 1 of the cabin lights on so my battery was dead so I charged battery over night. When I started the car this morning the service light was blinking so my wife left for work and 10 minutes into her drive the speedo stopped working.......any thoughts

Thanks in Advance

Service light or check engine light?

Flashing check engine means misfire typically. Never seen a flashing service light. Dead speedo makes me think issue in the cluster. Kind of a wild guess with nothing else to go on...

With nothing else to go on I'd guess impending cluster death.

Was the blinking consistent, rhythmic or more intermittent and random?

Thats a bummer answer. My silver 855 has had a constantly blinking service light for some time now. I'm just going to remove the bulb when I replace the other burnt out ones. :?
