I was just asked if I could help paint wheels flat black. Will a flat finish attract the brake dust and/or not clean easily?

If you flat black them, make sure you sand afterwards to knock off all of the rattle-can spatter, and then it won't attract any more than any other color would. Well, theoretically, anyway.

I have gloss black on my Nova wheels on the 145, and I like the shiny way more than flat, at least for wheels...

if there is no tire on the wheel make sure you clean the inside of tire surface of any overspray otherwise will cause bead seal and air issues
